Web-based E-learning has become an important need in improving productivity and independence of students' learning, and teachers' and students' learning motivation. It can also make the teaching-learning process more efficient, cost-effective, and resource-effective, and bound by clear discipline and procedures. This research used a research and development method and applied data collection techniques such as observation, interview, and list of questions. The application was designed using a prototype requirement method. This research aimed to produce a system application design of web-based E-learning to help improve motivation of teachers and students of SMK Immanuel Pontianak, reduce teachers' and students' communication difficulty level in learning, and understand and review every material dealt with at schooL Web-based E-learning enables the teachers and the students to have interaction without being limited to space and time through the internet network. The students can enter their login to access the Control Panel, read the news, articles, announcements, and school agendas, download the materials, do tutorials and exercises, and have online examinations and know the results directly.
